Rodney Gorges

Director of Engineering

With nearly two decades in the aircraft industry including experience in engineering, tooling, manufacturing, CNC programming and supervision, Rodney Gorges brings a broad and diverse background to his role as Director of Engineering at Millennium Concepts.  He began his aviation career in the tooling department at Bombardier/Learjet, working his way through a variety of disciplines before reaching the Model 45 interior engineering department. It was from that slot that he launched his career at Millennium Concepts in 1999.  An equal shareholder in Millennium Concepts, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors, he is responsible for corporate direction, preparation of bid quotations and, as many of Millennium’s high profile customers point out, “building good relationships with the customer base.” While Rodney is quick to point out that “customer relations is a team effort,” he places a high degree of importance on "doing whatever it takes" to build and maintain strong customer ties.  In his current role, he manages MC’s design and engineering functions and coordinates all relevant activities with Millennium’s VP of Engineering & Certification, as well. Throughout his career at Millennium, he has developed a strong background in aerospace interior styling and design, working closely with some of the leading design styling companies in the world. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. He also completed  a number of technical and management training courses while employed at Bombardier Learjet, developing expertise in Unigraphics, CATIA, Global Shop ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Project.
